All our of our professionally fitted blind comply with the British Standard/European Child Safety Directive EN13120.
Roller Blinds either have a safety device - a break away, that separates under tension. They can be easily put back together again.
The other option is to have a continuous chain that is secured 150cm above the floor. Some customers opt for this as they think it looks neater.
Vertical Blinds have a continuous chain and cord that is fitted 150cm above the floor. Some customers opt for this as they think it looks neater.
The most popular option, is the operational rod. Very easy to use - you simply pull it left to right, to draw the blinds. Simply rotating, to close and open the blind.
Roman Blinds have a continuous chain that is secured to the wall with a safety cleat 150cm above the floor.
Wooden, Faux Wood and Aluminium Venetian Blinds, the cords that tilt the blind will hang no lower than 150cm of the floor. The cords that lift the blind up and down, will have a cleat fitted 150cm off the floor. For the loose cord to be wrapped around, when the blind is fully up.
